Font - Bring Spooky Food M OC Years ago my husband was a middle school teacher. He's still a teacher just a different grade. A week before Halloween my husband gets an email from the school secretary about the Halloween potluck. The email specifically states to bring spooky

Organism - food. I love to cook. I also like to experiment with ways to make food fun and whimsical. My husband asks me to please make something savory and to please make it spooky. Spooky, you got it.

Font - Fast forward lunchtime on Halloween. I walk into the teacher's lounge with a cookie sheet covered in foil. I take off the foil and ask if anyone would like a "Bat Wing." They were actually whole BBQ chicken wings. However I added in some black food coloring to the sauce. BBQ

Font - sauce was my homemade recipe. Let's just say I got several grossed out faces and gags. My husband pointed out that we were told to bring spooky food. Apparently no one got the memo but him. Rest of the food was typical potluck food, nothing spooky.

Font - Finally, 15 minutes later a teacher decided she was going to have a bat wing. She did have to take a few deep breaths and the sight of the wing grossed her out. She finally decided if she closed her eyes she might be able to eat it.

Font - After one bite she told everyone how delicious the wings were. Rest of lunchtime no one touched the wings. We assumed we'd be taking them home.

People are too picky with their food (though to be fair, you can't eat at everybody's house especially if you don't know their food handling habits). Grade A prep on your part!

Font - curahn I saw a dish that was a chicken spayed out with a tail made of sausage. It was put together to look like a face hugger from Alien/Aliens. Very cleverly done

Font - LOUDCO-HD My wife works at a bank and all the tellers take turns bringing baked goods in on a loosely weekly rotation. It was the week of Halloween when it was my wife's turn. She worked all weekend long making several dozen cookies that resembled body parts; eyeballs, severed ears and fingers. She did a great job, maybe too good. Apparently many of her coworkers were too grossed out to eat them so she brought most of them back home, which worked out well for me, because I love my wife's

Font - ROC Splunkzop In a share house when I was young, I added different food colouring to rice when I cooked it. No one 'accidentally' ate my bright green/red/purple rice.

Font - FrogPrinceLuckey. Reminds me of when heinz came out with colored ketchup. My mother tried to use the green ketchup for MEATLOAF and none of us could get past the color to even try to eat it.
